Soldiers intercept millions of Naira allegedly being transported to bandits

Nigerian soldiers have intercepted a vehicle with millions of naira alleged to be transported by bandits. Despite the claims, no arrested bandit was spotted in the video and evidence of cash was not also revealed. Spotted in the vehicle also, were crates of eggs.

People have reacted to the video, claiming that it could be a ransom by the family of a kidnapped victim and as such the soldiers should tread with caution. It’s no longer news, the attacks and kidnaps done by these “bandits”. Just recently the former MD of an agricultural bank was kidnapped and a ransom of about N100 million was allegedly paid for his release.
